TYLER DAVIS RN, MSN : FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Tyler Davis is the founder and board chief executive officer of Women’s Gentle Care, Inc.—She provides the direction on the practicality of the board’s vision and mission. Tyler has received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Women’s Studies from The University of California, Riverside. Likewise, she has received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Charles R. Drew University. During both her undergraduate and graduate career, and thereafter, she has streamlined in numerous research studies and projects that were based on women, medicine and women’s health disparities alike. Her studies always emphasized how important it is for medical research to acknowledge and examine sex differences for the benefit and enhancement of prevention, detection and treatment strategies for women and health equality. Nonetheless, Tyler has made it her life’s work to not only affect change at the community level, but has also devoted her achievements and credentials to refining the health of women, as well as building awareness of the issues related to women’s health and gender biology amongst health professionals and the general public.
MARY CRAIG RN, PHN, DPCS : BOARD VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF HOME HEALTH SERVICES
Mary Craig is the board vice president and chief operating officer of home health services for Women’s Gentle Care, Inc. As such, she assists in the oversight of the operational goals and objectives of the organization, as well as manages the ongoing and emergent home health care needs and tasks. Mary has greater than 30 years of nursing experience. Her background includes, but is not limited to: Administrative Nursing Services, Nurse Consultant services for home health and hospice care, Medical and Medicare operations, health service Evaluator and Auditor for the Los Angeles County Public Health Department, Nurse Negotiator and Administrator of Alcohol and Drug resources and programs of Los Angeles county, and clinical staff nursing services to pediatric, intensive care, psychiatric, rehabilitative, and postpartum hospital units. Moreover, Mary is the founder and director of patient services to Women’s Gentle Care, Inc.’s affiliated organization, Gentle Care, Inc. Home Health Agency. Gentle Care Inc., provides in-home nursing services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work services, and overall in-home support to the greater Los Angeles community. Mary believes that the most important goals of health care is to ensure that the ill, elderly, and disabled receive high quality, personal, and compassionate care in the comfort and convenience of their homes.
DEBORAH MILLER RN, PHN, FNP: EXECUTIVE PRESIDENT OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES
Deborah Miller is the executive operating officer of Women’s Gentle Care, Inc.’s health care services. As such, she overseas chronic and acute healthcare diversion programs, including medical services, health education, and health quality improvement. Deborah has greater than 35 years of nursing experience; nearly 20 of those years were dedicated to providing excellent internal medicine as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her responsibilities as a Family Nurse Practitioner include, but are not limited to: treating patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, performing physical health examinations, and mentoring. Thus, Deborah is well-versed in emergent, intensive and highly critical medical conditions. Due to her practical knowledge and nursing experience, she is well-equipped to manage chronic and acute health conditions, such as hypertension and diabetes, oversee the health and wellness of women, including providing preconception and prenatal care, treat minor acute injuries, and provide episodic care for acute illnesses in all ages.
ABIBA AZIZ RN, MSN: EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF COMMUNITY EXPERIENCES
Abiba Aziz is the executive officer of Women’s Gentle Care Inc.’s community relation experiences. Her talents are utilized to analyze communities’ experiences in relation to Women’s Gentle Care, Inc.’s strategic planning and implementation. Abiba is currently working on receiving her Master of Science in Nursing from Charles R. Drew University. Still, she has an extensive background in community health outreach and care. She has worked with Hank’s Mini Market to participate in the health screening and education of the underserved Los Angeles community, as well as she has partnered with the County of Los Angeles Public Health Department to promote health awareness by connecting community members with needed health services. By the same token, Abiba is passionate about Women’s Gentle Care, Inc.’s mission, to achieve a healthy nation by working effectively with communities. Through Abiba’s extensive community analysis, we are able to better commit ourselves to not only building awareness of women’s health related issues, but also providing health wellness and education effectively.
KEVIN CARTER: CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER
Kevin Carter is the chief strategy officer of Women’s Gentle Care, Inc. His duties include the oversight of innovative solutions that embody Women’s Gentle Care, Inc.’s vision, and aides in the coordination of healthcare, advocacy and educational campaigns. Kevin’s background includes marketing and campaign development, as well as financial management. Accordingly, he has extensive experience client satisfaction, campaign management to initiate appropriate timelines of foreseen programs, and budgeting processes to achieve financial accountability. Through marketing and campaign strategy, Kevin strives hard to keep community members engaged with healthy decision making.
